Agents & Department Selector Pro
Add multiple agents so visitors can choose who they want to talk to. When two or more agents are enabled, clicking the button opens a department selector popup before WhatsApp opens.
How it works
- 1 agent enabled: The button opens WhatsApp directly to that agent's number. No popup.
- 2 or more agents enabled: Clicking the button opens a popup listing all enabled agents. The visitor picks one and WhatsApp opens to that agent's number.
Business hours interaction: When Business Hours is also enabled, agents only appear in the selector during open hours. Outside hours, the offline message is shown instead. See Business Hours.
Adding agents
- Go to Settings > WaFloat Pro ⚡ and scroll to the Agents section.
- Fill in the Name, WhatsApp Number, and optionally the Role / Department for the first agent.
- Check Enabled to make the agent visible in the popup.
- Click + Add Agent to add another row. Repeat for each agent.
- Click Save Pro Settings.
Agent fields
| Field | Description |

| Name | Displayed as the agent's name in the department selector popup. Example: Sarah or Sarah — Sales. Keep it short and recognizable. |
| WhatsApp Number | The number WhatsApp opens to when the visitor selects this agent. Same format as the main phone number — country code + number, no + or spaces. Example: 9609901234. |
| Role / Department | Optional label shown below the name in the popup. Example: Sales, Support, Technical. Helps visitors quickly identify the right person. |
| Enabled | Check to show this agent in the popup. Uncheck to temporarily hide the agent without deleting their record. Useful for out-of-office situations. |
Tips
- The order agents appear in the popup matches the order they are listed in Settings. Drag to reorder if your theme supports it.
- If all agents are disabled, the button falls back to the phone number set in the free plugin settings.
- Agent names and roles are not sent to WhatsApp — they only appear in the selector popup on your site.
