Business Hours Pro

Business Hours automatically controls when the WhatsApp button is available. Outside your set hours, visitors see your offline message instead of the live button — so you're never promising a chat you can't deliver.

How to set up

Go to Settings > WaFloat Pro ⚡ and scroll to the Business Hours section.
Toggle Enable Business Hours on.
Select your Timezone from the dropdown. This is critical — all open/close times are interpreted in this timezone.
For each day of the week, toggle the day Open and set the From and To times using 24-hour format. Toggle a day off to mark it as closed.
Enter your Offline Message — the text shown to visitors when they visit outside your open hours.
Click Save Pro Settings.

Setting	Description
Enable Business Hours	Master toggle for this feature. When off, the button shows at all times regardless of the day/time schedule below.
Timezone	Select your local timezone from the full PHP timezone list. The plugin uses this to determine whether the current time is within your open hours. Choose carefully — an incorrect timezone is the most common cause of hours not matching expectations.
Day schedule	A row for each day of the week. Toggle a day open or closed. When open, set From and To times. Times use 24-hour format (e.g. `09:00` to `18:00`).
Offline Message	Text displayed in the popup when a visitor clicks the button outside your open hours. Example: We're offline right now. Leave us a message and we'll reply soon!

Outside-hours behavior

When the current time is outside your configured open hours:

The button remains visible but appears slightly dimmed to signal unavailability.
Clicking the button opens the greeting popup showing your offline message.
The WhatsApp link is not activated — visitors cannot open a chat until you are back online.

Department selector and business hours: When both features are active, the department selector only appears during open hours. Outside hours, the offline message takes over regardless of how many agents are configured.

Tips

Always double-check your timezone setting after setup. Visit your site on a mobile device at a time you know is outside hours and verify the offline message appears.
If your hours span midnight (e.g. 22:00 to 02:00), set the From time as the start and To as the end, and the plugin will handle the day boundary correctly.
To show the button 24/7 on certain days, set From to 00:00 and To to 23:59.
