WooCommerce Integration Pro
When enabled, the WhatsApp pre-filled message on product pages automatically includes the product name and URL — so your team immediately knows what the customer is asking about.
Requirements
- WooCommerce 6.0 or higher installed and active
- WaFloat Pro active with a valid license key
How it works
On single product pages (/product/product-name/), WaFloat replaces the standard pre-filled message with one that includes the product's name and URL. When a visitor clicks the WhatsApp button and your team receives the chat, they immediately see which product prompted the enquiry.
The auto-generated message format is:
Hi, I'm interested in: [Product Name]
[Product URL]
On all other pages (homepage, blog, cart, checkout, etc.) the standard pre-filled message from the free plugin settings is used.
Setup
- Make sure WooCommerce is installed, active, and you have at least one published product.
- Go to Settings > WaFloat Pro ⚡ and scroll to the WooCommerce section.
- Toggle Enable WooCommerce Integration on.
- Click Save Pro Settings.
- Visit any single product page on your store and click the WhatsApp button to verify the message includes the product name and URL.
Settings
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Enable WooCommerce Integration | Master toggle. When on, the product-context message is used on single product pages. When off, the standard pre-filled message from the free plugin is used everywhere. |
Notes
- This feature only activates on single product pages. It does not apply to shop archive pages, product category pages, or the cart/checkout.
- The product URL included in the message is the canonical product permalink — it does not include UTM parameters or query strings.
- If a product has no URL (draft, private, or trashed), the message falls back to the standard pre-filled message.
- The product name and URL are injected client-side and are not stored or logged anywhere by the plugin.
Combine with Display Rules: Use Display Rules to show the button only on product pages, keeping it hidden from the blog or homepage if that's what your store needs.
